Son of a bitch! C’mon, push! Do not even think about giving up!

These were the thoughts of a 5’3 boy trying to bench 150 pounds. Sorry, these were thoughts while lifting 150 pounds. Yes, I know that is not much weight. In my defense I wake up at 4:30 am to bike to the gym and be able to workout at 5 every morning. Almost everyday I am in this drowsy state of just waking up. I look like a zombie for the first couple of minutes, I am dragging my feet around and yawning every 5 minutes.

This day was tough to workout without feeling weak, I knew I had a problem. I had to find a solution to enter the gym with more energy. After the training session, I went back home and during the bike ride, I came up with the solution. I remembered someone telling me about this supplement that makes you feel energized.

The moment I got home I hopped on the computer and searched “supplements that give energy.” And their it was the notorious Pre-workout. I ordered only one unit of Sour Patch Redberry. It took around three days to be delivered.

When it arrived, I was so excited to try that I opened it and sniffed it. It smelled amazing. I went to bed, 4:30 am my alarm went off, I immediately got up and turned it off. After that I grabbed my water bottle, I poured the two scoops of pre, workout and then I served the water and took off to the gym. When I got to the gym, I usually spend 15 to 30 minutes in the treadmill. Before going on the treadmill, I started zipping on the pre-workout. I was expecting to feel immediate effect, but I felt nothing, and told myself this do not work.

I hopped on the treadmill and started to jog. At this moment I only felt that I was focused and that is it. I never thought it had something to do with the pre-workout. While I was passing the 15-minute mark on the treadmill, I suddenly started to feel a tangling and itching sensation all over my face and body. It was horrible, I really thought I going to suffer a seizure. I kept on running and I did not feel tired, so I increased the velocity of the treadmill and continue running. I ran 3 mile in 25 minutes, and after that I did a complete legs workout and felt fresh.

When the training session ended, I told my coach with a smirk in my face “taking pre-workout is cheating,” he laughed and responded, “with all seriousness, do not take it everyday you will become addicted towards it and you will be needed to work out.” Rolling my eyes, I said “yeah yeah, do not worry.”

After a month of taking pre-workout, I can confidently say that I have become hooked to it, and I needed before every training session.

Thanks for your time and reading my story of taking pre-workout for the first time, I hope you got a laugh from it.
