Have you ever been attracted by a guy or girl and were too shy to not ask him/her out? Has there been a moment in your life where you froze because of been too afraid of taking the risk? If you have, do not worry about it. Everybody has those moments. What would you think if there is a tool that may help you to solve all those problems? Is a type of rule that may help you to step out of you comfort zone and make you more courageous and self-confident? You must be warned, this rule is for people who really want to become a better version of themselves. Is a strategy to make you face situations that you were petrified of doing. This only work on individuals who have self-discipline, accountability, and that hunger of always improving.

Are you ready to know the secret rule?

The Rule is count to three. It is a simple as that. You might be laughing or wondering “Huh?.” This might sound as a simple rule, but if you are really a person of your word, this strategy might fit with you. The way to use it is by: Focus on the present, take a deep breath and count to three. How it was stated before, this tool is not for everybody. The only people that have used this rule, were the bravest individuals that existed on Earth.

By the way, the Rule is very flexible, you can just take a deep breath and face your fear, or just simply take a deep breath and say here I go. It does not have to necessarily be counting to three.

Counting to three rules is an amazing tool to confront you fears. This idea was explained by Steve-O a crazy guy, but courageous at the same time. He has done the most ludicrous shit ever. Do not copy what he does. But this principle he goes by can be inspiring to some.

Every time you are trying to get out of your comfort zone use this rule.

Does this Rule Work?

Honestly only you have the answer to that question. The rule is just there to make yourself accountable that you are doing something important. Steve-O created the rule the never backdown of a challenge. You may use the rule for the same purpose, but different kind of challenge. DO Not do or Copy what Steve-O does.

What is the Purpose of this Rule?

This rule may just be to face fears and step out of your comfort zone. Or to simply start and focus on something. This rule does not have a specific purpose, these rules may not even work. This rule might be a tool for people who are stuck in their comfort zone or always freeze when they are going to face their fear.

Exercise…

Imagine yourself in a place or situation where your heart starts raising and facing a task you do not feel brave enough to do (it is nothing wrong just you are not use to it). You know you need to do the job in hand if not you will be named as a coward by yourself (Which is worse than been called by someone else). What would you do?

Know imagine the same situation but apply the deep breath and count to three.

Final thoughts

The rule is simply a guide or system to start facing your fears. Obviously, their will be some people that do not need these guide or help, but other might. Even if does not work every time, you are conscious and what you are not doing and that might mean you are still improving yourself. This tool is no magic words that will make you the fearless person ever. It might help you to become a better version of yourself. Give it a try, do not discard this resource.
