Going for a run and returning rich

“I am fucking bored, sick of watching YouTube videos all day long” Petr said. He gets out of bed and stumbles with a box of pizza, that looks a few months old. Ignoring the rotten food, he continued his walk towards the kitchen. He opens the fridge door and realizes he does not have any food. Taking a step back and scratching his head, he decided to go for a run. He put his cloth on and looked outside the window to decide if he needed sunblock or not. Noticing the sun high in the clear sky, he decides to put the cream on. He left his apt and started jogging. Five minutes in and Petr is already breathing heavily. He began walking and he slowly catches his breathe back. Petr in that moment feels the calming breeze and it made him grateful. He becomes aware of the people around him, how every single one of them are saying hello. He returns to his home and he is relaxed and happy. Petr makes a commitment with him self to go for a walk every single day for at least 30 minutes.

After a week of going for a walk, Petr decided to make changes in his home. He decides to clean it. Starting with the bedroom, since is the place that has the most trash in it. Then he goes to the bedroom, and finally moves to the kitchen. He spent around 4 hours organizing and mopping his apartment. After the cleanse, he felt satisfied. He knew it was the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

Petr continue walking every day for thirty minutes. It reached the point that he needed to add thirty more, since he enjoyed it that much. Know he is walking for an hour every day. He is proud of this new habit he established in his life. After a week of walking, Petr noticed that his fridge is still empty. He only has water in there. He hops on the computer and searches for healthy diets. He became overwhelmed with all the information he discovered. He decided to drive to the supermarket and buy, meats, eggs, vegetables, fruits, rice, and oatmeal. He was excited to begin his new and healthy way of eating.

After a month of walking, eating healthy, and weekly cleaning, Petr notice he is a new man. He looked at himself in the mirror and realized he lost a few pounds. He came up with the idea of trying old clothing on. He tried out the old shirts and pants, and they fitted perfectly. He simply closed his eyes and smile.

In one of the walks, he began pondering about his life. He thought he has been stuck in the same stage of his life for years now. He came with the realization that he needs to do something about it. With an itching urge he goes back to the apartment and goes directly to his computer. He searched for what to do with my life. He read this article about learning new skill and creating new experiences.

Petr started looking for activities that would grab his attention. He signed up for salsa classes, stand up comedy, and a gym membership.
